Meg FTW!

AT&T lost. The first woman hung up on me, but the second guy was very nice and I talked him in to not only renewing my previous plan AND reinstating my old text package, but he set my account so I was approved for an upgrade and I got my free Blackberry.

I win.

We had a staff meeting for the summer camp yesterday and I think it's going to be a lot of fun-- there's one kid there who was a camper there when I was a junior counselor who is JUST as much of an ass as he was when he was ten. Shocker. There are a couple of male counselors who are good kids, one of whom goes to Rhodes, and the other female counselors are really sweet girls, we're starting a crafts committee! Each week, we'll go to Michael's and buy supplies for the next week's crafting and we're going to try to do them to match the theme of the week.

Not much else to say, it's been a pretty boring day. I did get a lot of things on my to-do list done, though, so not too shabby on the whole. Tomorrow I deal with the AOII stuff and a few other things and I'll be all set for summer camp! I feel like a kid again, I'm going to go get some backup batteries and at the very least make sure I have pictures of the Aquarium field trip on Wednesday :D

A "Productive" Day

Got Analia's presents shipped off, so I'm very excited about that-- I hope everything fits and they look as absolutely adorable as I think they will! I bet that blue dress in particular is going to be cute as a button.

I also finally sat down with mom's computer and hooked up the printer and all that sort of thing, did up the save-the-dates, and got them all printed out!! I printed out about 20 extra since new addresses keep showing up-- I had the names on the original guest list but never got addresses to go with them, and since I won't be using these postcards for anything else in particular I'll just print them all up.

Watched all my shows, talked to Jeremy for a while, ate some Cheez-Its and am now fighting the urge to make red garlic curry at 2a and watching Angel. We'll see if Jon remembers to bring me the boxed set or not, I'm betting not. I'll remind him at the staff meeting tomorrow since we apparently decided to start those up again and I missed the memo... hopefully I haven't scheduled too much on Saturdays-- I know they're not mandatory in the strictest sense of the word, but they're not horrible meetings, and I like my coworkers and Jill, and I get to learn a little bit more about what I'm doing. However, since I don't work Saturday nights, 4p on a Saturday isn't the most inconvenient time, but it's not the most convenient time either... ah, well, c'est la vie.

Off to bed with me so that I can get up and finish off my save-the-dates and figure out how much postage I need to buy... that's the kicker, the darn postage!
