Aminals! (aka photo spam)

We went to the zoo on Wednesday! Zoo Atlanta is a really awesome zoo, loads of animals, really helpful staff, and we had a blast! So, here's your photo spam for the week :)

Very cool British guy who told Ellie and Emily about the hornbills Zazu and Gumbi. Thanks to Zazu, I had Lion King songs stuck in my head all day!

Milky Eagle Owl-- he was HUGE!
and really pretty!
Zoo Atlanta has lots of bronze statues around, they're all beautiful!

Willie B, Atlanta's most beloved animal! This statue's dangerous, though-- bronze is such a good conductor that during a freak lightning storm about 10-15 years ago four kids were electrocuted!

222-- missed it!

Last post was my 222nd post!

We're wrapping up our last week of camp, and boy is it a doozy! Our enrollment is slightly lower than we expected, which is fine because it's less work for me in the office side of things which leaves me with the chance to wrap up some after school stuff that needs to get done. Right now we have almost 120 kids registered for after school, which is amazing! That's up 30 from last year's enrollment, and almost all through word of mouth! There's nothing that can convince me that I'm doing a good job better than that!

Anyway, it'll be kinda crazy for the next couple weeks, so I'll talk to y'all then!

Ciao.

The rest of the time

I didn't take as many pictures as I normally do, we were all still a little worn out this week! But, here are a few from our last couple of days together.

Sarah baked oatmeal chocolate chip cookies-- they weren't the prettiest!

Which, of course, he had to turn in to a sideshow :)

And his first intentional beet eating since childhood!

Glittery cupcakes! So yummy!
