Work was slow tonight, but I got a lot of things done behind the bar, for which Jill was very thankful. I got over 100 sets of silverware rolled, cleaned up the stainless tops on the dessert case and the wine coolers, cleaned off the dessert plates, reorganized the coolers, coffee cups and the coffee plates/app plates (which are the same size and never separated properly) and other such organizational stuff. Hopefully it'll pick up again soon, once it's not so cold. It's been running about 33 during the day with a windchill down to 25 at 20mph. Brr!
I picked up more boxes which made Mewsette very happy. I have never seen a cat who loved boxes as much as mine does! She keeps hopping in one and looking out like, "Hmm, how's the view from here?" and deciding she wants to try another. I told Joe it's like Goldilocks and the three boxes with commentary. I assume she's found a box she likes now as I haven't heard from her, but I'm positive she'll move again before the night's over!
I also forgot to mention that Saturday is also Miss America. It's going to be awesome.
I served a Caprese salad at work tonight and now I really want one... it's the perfect salad, really.
Suppose that's all for now; I need to go to bed, but House Hunters is in Rome and it's a lot of fun! I mean, they're paying more for a 550 sq.ft. attico than most people pay for a three bedroom two bathroom house, but they're in the city center and there's a farmer's market right across the street! Well, they haven't bought that one, but it's totally nice! Even if it is appx. $369,000 USD...
