Mic Check, 1, 2...

Anyone still out there? We've been having so much drama with our internets I haven't even bothered trying to upload pictures... here goes nothing! For those of you who didn't see on the Facebook, here's our new house (unfurnished!); furnished pictures to come soon-- but we're still piecing the place together!

Back yard-- could use some taming!

Back deck-- perfect size for our bench and grill!

WASHER AND DRYER!!!

DISHWASHER! GAS STOVE! COUNTER SPACE!

Rest of the kitchen-- it's cute :)

Our bedroom

Living room

"Office" (where that desk Jeremy hates will go when it comes down from MS)

Guest bedroom

All the closets are the same size; not very big, but not too shabby :)

Bathroom with awesome tires

Bathroom/linen closet
It's a really cute house, and it has an enormous attic that runs the length of the house-- we've just been so busy we haven't had a chance to put very much together! I'll take some pictures this weekend to update y'all on how things are looking after we sort out a few more things. We love it here; it's nice and quiet and there's enough space for both of us to knock around and do whatever we want. The other place, we were just going through the motions of living there, but this place is actually somewhere we can live and be happy!

(plus, our landlord is so far head and shoulders and BFG's above our old ones!)

About that...

Yeah, I'd planned on updating a lot BUT then AT&T decided we wouldn't get internet until the 13th so I'm still living off of my phone's hotspot... not exactly easy!

Saturday-- or maybe Friday?

This is where my days start running together... I think this might actually be Friday in the brief time between business session, staffing, and dinner! I got a chance to go out and see the area immediately around the hotel and ran in to a great little mercado where I picked up some ground chiles and some delicious Mexican pastries! Probably some of my favorite pictures from Tucson are from the mercado since the wildfire smoke made an already difficult landscape almost impossible to shoot!

This shot reminded me of one from our trip to Colorado
Some beautiful rosaries hanging outside the market

More pretty things

Great outdoor area-- we'd love to do something like this in our back yard!
Cute metal lizard

Because that's what you expect in Tucson!

Friday!

Friday was mostly business, so here are a few shots of the evening fun we had!

Our beautiful place settings-- the salad was SOOO good! Stilton and bacon? Yes, please!

They managed to keep the centerpieces looking great and with the exception of Thursday's brunch, generally out of the way to facilitate conversation.

Vicki, Danielle, Jessica, Rachel, EmJ, [Danielle, help me out...] and I-- our awesome table!

Rachel getting recognized for her scholarship!

YUMMY Dessert! Peanutbutter cheesecake in a chocolate shell on a chocolate cookie!

PIP Skit! Too funny!

Brandi (my college CNS), me, and Kristen (my new NSR)-- Brandi and Kristen are from the same chapter at MTSU and are two of my favorites! Go Rho O!

Whoops!

OK, so we started moving this week and I'll put up pictures of the new place so you can see when I'm done filling you in on Convention (which I know you're all super excited about, but I'm not one to abandon a project!) BUT we haven't had internet so far! I'm using my wireless hotspot on my phone (man, don't I feel all tech savvy?) but we've been so busy and the hotspot can't support the blogger uploads like regular wifi that I haven't had a chance to catch up! Never fear, I will start again tonight! Lots to say here AND on the Agape blog!

Prickly Pear

After dinner, Morgan had heard such great things about the Prickly Pear Margaritas that we had to go try one! The view from the patio was amazing, and my camera just didn't do it justice!

The margaritas were super yummy, by the way! Highly recommended!

Thursday Dinner

We missed the free 5:30 shot but hung out for a minute and enjoyed the view!

Dinner!

Totally fun centerpiece!

Squishy water balls from the centerpiece

PIP Story Telling!!!

Me and Barb-- she's a PIP now!
Peg Kramer Crawford, PIP, and too funny!

The PIP Story Telling was probably one of my favorite things all week-- Peg Kramer Crawford is without a doubt, one of the funniest people I've ever met! I wish Blogger would work so I could upload her story about going to Canada twice for chapter installations; there's intrigue, breaking international law, defrauding the Canadian Government, and a plunger.
